That's good ,and That's bad ?
Why do we try to define people as simply good or simply evil?
What a question !
I tried to find an answer ,but this quote made me more roamer :S
"You and I do not see things as they are. We see things as we are."
Hmmm , why ?
"Bad people" should be wearing black hats ,"good people" should be wearing white hats ?
"Evil" is symbolized by the "black" color ,while "good" is symbolized by "light" or the "white". This is how children learn about "good " and "bad" ,not only children ,we ourselves ,feel a "negativity" or let's call it "hatred" when something looks "dark" or "black", and in the same time , have a feeling of "liking" or "positivity" for what looks "not dark" "light'' may be
We wouldn't "define" something to be "good"without having it's converse which is "seen" as "evil" ?
If I looked at that picture ,I "see" it as a "white" rose in a "dark" background ,with no doubt,I couldn't see it's a "white" rose (or even as a rose itself) if that background wasn't "black" ,could I ?
May be the existence of "good" and "evil" , "light"and "dark" ,"day" and "night" ,"zero" and "one" ,"black" and "white" ,"sadness" and "happiness ",......something and it's opposite is what creates the balance of this universe ?
What am trying to say is ,the real question should be ,is it that easy to distinguish between good and evil ?
It's correct our eyes can "see" the" dark and light",still the "truth and falseness " is not "sighted" but only in our hearts !
may be this question should be asked by non-muslims, because in our relegion we have a sorce to return to so we can destinguish between evil or good, or what we call" Halal and Haram"
"الحلال بين والحرام بين وبينهما أمور مشتبهات"^^
your black-and-white theory reminds me with the chinese "yen" and "yan" :)
