A white day !
Wednesday 31/1/2008, around 9 pm ,at home :
Playing a new strategy I managed to test on my (AoEII) Death match ,between the Saracens (my team ) and the Teutons (Computer's team) .....
Most of the times I was blamed to play this old(released 1999 !) game BUT what can I say !! Age of Empires II simply never gets old. It's one of those games you can just play again and again. There's so much game play depth, so much strategy, you can still discover stuff about it you didn't know before after years (well only 1+.x year :P )of playing.... To me, this game represents the peak of the RTS genre ... again ,for me :P
Suddenly ,it gets dark ...everything !....and my game plan was gone :\
The electricity was lost due to the 'freezing' weather conditions ,and almost all the neighboring parts ,were expecting to spent this night without electrical light ...... using old oil lamps or may be candles .......and it was a really quite different night !
Snowing outside , we ate our dinner lit by dim candles' light ,I tried to do something useful ,well ... made a cup of hot Cacao for everyone ..... that was all what I could think of :b
The next morning ......
.(no need to talk about how I spent the rest of that night ,till 1 am :\ ) ..
Everything was WHITE ! just beautiful scenes(well,....... only white colored ) in any direction of the eyesight .... I don't remember when was the last time it snowed like this ,but am sure long enough to forget how that cold color looks like !
Starting some fights by snowballs ,and everybody put a hand in turning me to an easy target for their balls :\ !
